When CoPower, an online investment platform for clean energy, publicly launched its first Green Bond they retained BlueSky to develop an integrated media relations and social media campaign that would generate awareness and build credibility among potential investors.
This was an exciting project we could really get behind. Supporting solar and energy efficient projects, the Green Bond l provided average Canadians (not just big institutions) the ability to invest ethically – and with local impact – an area of growing demand for investors who are increasingly conscious of what their money is supporting.
BlueSky leveraged this demand with a targeted media outreach and social strategy that secured 19 news stories with an audience reach of over 23 million impressions. National news coverage included key business and personal finance press across major print, radio, and television outlets. Our social media support and contributed content across LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter platforms resulted in significant increases in likes and followers, and a top daily Facebook engagement of 3.2k impressions.
